Story - How This Free Job Alert Blog Started

Just after completion of my degree course, I thought I would get a job just like that. There was a very valid reason for such a thinking. I topped the university, had quite a few gold medals and glittering trophies, and quite a few achievements to quote in my resume. It was as if job will walk in to me.

But it never happened. Few months, then years, and some more years went by. One day I saw that almost all my class mates have already been employed by good companies. I got a shock that day. Many of those who got jobs were never a match for me as far as qualification and educational achievements are concerned. But one thing in which they were better then me, which I realized later on, is their awareness about new career opportunities and vacancies. They were more alert then myself. They got the job.

Where I suffered was that I did not had many friends. If you have friends and good people in your circle they will care about you and will tell you before anyone that certain job is posted so that you can go and grab it before anyone else could do so. But this can't be an excuse for me not trying or at least looking for a job.

But after sometime I realized that I was not the only one who was without a job, and without a friend. There were many like me. They were going through same frustration of being unemployed as I was.

Later I got a job, but I decided to do something that can solve the problem of good people not getting a job because of unawareness. I too it upon myself to alert people about new jobs and openings in the companies. That is how I came up with free job alert blog freevacancyalert.blogspot.com
